Broadcast Studio & Control Room
CHESS Recording Studio
A Working Broadcast Studio, Control Room Included
A working broadcast studio inside the CHESS Building, Meredith College's newest academic building. The set is built around a branded news desk with a red feature wall, a monitor wall and a teleprompter, and it looks out through glass to a full control room with an audio mixing console, a video production switcher and multi-screen monitoring.
The building opened in 2022 and also houses a podcast room and three editing rooms, so a shoot can move from recording to edit without leaving the building. Guests arrive through a contemporary lobby with a water feature and fireplace, and the building is fully accessible.
