Multi-Use Event Space
Cate Center
Flexible Space for Meetings and Casual Events
The Cate Center is a multi-use space on the Meredith College campus in Raleigh. It is in the Cate Student Center, the same building as Kresge Auditorium, and has two areas: the Alcove Area for up to 25 guests and the Commissary Area for up to 70.
The Cate Center offers flexible space for meetings, casual events, breakout sessions and group activities, from informal gatherings to structured corporate meetings. On-campus parking is available.
Good to know: Capacity counts everyone in the room (70 in the Commissary Area, 25 in the Alcove Area). Each room comes as shown in its photos: its furniture can be rearranged, not added or removed. Bring any licensed caterer or your own prepared food; alcohol only through Oak Leaf or a licensed, permitted vendor.
